Eventually got round to knocking up my spare wheel post . Pic is the first go ended chopping another 65mm out of the post . Last shot is at the correct height.

Little update, picked up my Velo GP90 and some autometer guages and fitted those were the ashtray once was.
The car goes back in on Tuesday for fit up so hopefullyu some more updates shortly

Dropped by the workshop Friday to check on progress and was surprised the motor was in. Yes it is sitting high at the moment has 25mm drop still but i need to get the motor back about 20-30 mm . need to find some offset engine mounts.

found my mounts to get the motor down a bit lower , these are from maddat motorsport . Also picked up this billet thermo housing from Datsport.

Hi all bit of a update, the car came home for christmas. the motor and gearbox are fitted up properly tailshaft is shortened and fitted, and break lines are sorted slowly getting through bits and peices fitting them up properly. Here are some update pics. Oh and I've painted it, the next week of 35 plus should bake it nicely

give it a couple of weeks glen , by then clear coat will be done and everything would of calmed down from holiday period. That and the kidneys couldn't take it just yet.

got about 7 coats of clear on today or 4L of paint , so now once thats dry I can start putting things back together.
RS 2000 I think thats a great idea , try and organise something in a few weeks , I will throw a message out to you and Glenn.
