Try to find a wrecked early Mazda Tribute. Depending on the model of the Duratec, I think the alloy covers only came out on the coil pack version Duratec - hence you will have some issues if yours is coil over plug.

Steviestar, isn't your wife's car a Fiesta? Completely different engine to the 3s and 6s (belt driven 1.6 vs chain driven 2.0/2.3 for starters).

    Yeah it's an 08' fiesta!

Is there anything out there with an alloy cam cover that will fit - or an aftermarked?

Sorry mate, no alloy covers for that motor, 1600 Duratec...i'm sticking 1 in my Anglia and been casually looking in Europe/UK for 'Go fast bits' cams, pulleys etc, not much avail. On the other hand, if you had a ST150 Fiesta 2.0lt, there is a ally rocker cover std, and access to cams, pulleys, pistons etc!!
