I know the feeling Your turbo might be the only thing that doesnt live up to your expectations...a high flowed T3 will do about 300rwhp at best

Yeah I hear ya Phil, I was pulling 220HP ATW with a stock motor, and am a little concerned that throwing $14K at the engine alone will get me another 80HP but I guess the turbo is the key. Maybe with a higher static compression it'll make a bit more. Precision Turbo rebuilt my T03 and said it should make 400HP. Am keen to see what it puts out! At least I've built an engine that'll handle whateva I throw at it.

I hit the edit button first...now I have the right one[:o)] All in good time I guess Its part of the evolution process which is fun in itself[:p] John at Precision did my original turbo and a mates for his FJ powered 120Y, his made 200rwkw on 18psi, Im pretty sure Precision did Marks original T3 which did 242rwkw in his Escort. A GT3071R or 3076R will do the new engine proud The engine bay looks spot on, fun times ahead

muzza, nice looking Mk1. Do you have any photos of the rear of your front hubs, looking to see how you have fitted the disk and caliper combination and cleared the steering arms. Are they spaced out bolted on versions. what size disk you useing.
Cheers,
JP
