As i said i'm only round the corner in Gozzy but I'm at sea for another month (5 weeks at work 5 weeks at home)so when i get home we'll organise something. I just realised your Esky is nearly the same colour as my Corty, Copper Bronze, Do it that colour again, it looks nice when done properly and heaps of chrome. If you do any more to it in the next few weeks post the photo's. Cheers, Richo
cool, sounds good.

i forgot to update this thread after i posted some pics of our latest aquisition in the "what has made you happy thread". anyways... the brown car hasn't progressed at all, just been too busy but we went and bought a second Mk1 Escort 2dr for parts. was advertised in the quokka as wreck or sell complete so rang the guy asking about the boot lid as we needed another. after a few phone calls to the guy as my list kept growing, i told him i'd just come round and look at the whole lot!! :) went round and although it doesnt look like much, i was quite impressed with what we found. it's a '72, has a quick shift fitted to the 4spd ( feels tight as as shifts easily incl'g reverse ), has extractors, webber, mags, decent sized exhaust, mk2 ( i think ) front seats, good boot!, tinted windows and best of all a 711M 1600 with what looks like electronic ignition! going to use what we need off it and then either sell or scrap the shell. haven't had the time to do anything to the orange one yet either!! not enough hours in the weeks at the moment! pics:

Cut orange MK1 in half and hang it on the wall? Or E-bay it to a Irish backpacker. It looks drivable still[:x)]
