Well i have a hurry along now and trying to get it running for the SFS on teh 5th of feb. Started modding the fuel rail, mounting the fuel reg, setting up the wireing while i wait on the info i need to finish off my headers. Ordered my starter and clutch slave cylinder today so that is 2 less things i need now. only another 999 to go[88][88][88]

This beast is going to be at SFS?

... awesome. [:x)]

I think I might even top the 1,000 photos I took at Canberra if all the cars I've heard are coming show up! [:p]

Thanks guys.
I will be woking hard on geting it there. It wont be completed but i hope to have it running. Prob looking at about a 30% chance of it being there at the min. Depends on how long the fire wall and trans tunnel take, then things like steering column and hydrolic clutch , super charger drive pullies, and cooling system to sort out too. see how i go over X-mas.

Haha, not yet. The funds wont allow it at the moment, but I'll definitely be getting some in the near future! I love the gold centres with the green paint too.

Darnold, would be awesome to see it running down at SFS. Should trailer it down if it's not. I want to have a good look over it, haha. [88]

Well i have had another look at all the work that needs to be done. Ive changed my mind. Not 30% chance of being going, make it about 3.0%chance of being going. But i will give it my best shot. I just wish it wasnt so hot and windy here today. Makes work very slow.

Well the drivers side headers have come up a treat, having room for the clutch slave cylinder and steering rack. I have settled on a primary length of betwen 34' and 31" as that is as close as i can get the lenght of the tree pipes on each side.

whooooohoo. Had the engerneer here today to look at my car and everything was good.[:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)]
He like the four link rear and dont need to change anything on that except make the watts link mounts stronger which i was going to do anyway.[:p][:p]
The engine mounts, guard mods, fire wall and front suspention will all pass when complete. Just the polution gear will be the main issue and the break peddle presure will have to be up to scratch. Now i can realy get stuck into it.[:p][:p][:p][:p][:p]

I wont have it going in 2 weeks unfortunatly. It will take about that long to get the wireing done for the motor. I am about to pull the old motor and gearbox out of the car and start fitting all the new bits to it, fire wall and trans tunnel ect. But atleast i know i have a green light now.[:p][:p]

Wow! awesome news about the engy. I thought you would have to stock up on lip gloss to get that through. As you say, now you can get into it knowing its leading to a registerable car. Looking forwards to the pics.

[:x)][:x)][:x)] I was expecting to as well, I even had a razor to shave my legs and a pillow for when i got down on my knees to beg.[:x)][:x)]
Well to days progress is beyond the point of no return..... I have the capri motor out and put in on the scales, complete motor with clutch and presure plate[:u][:u] 220kg [:u][:u]. my new motor is only 180kg [:p][:p][:p]. that will make the car 40kg light in the front end.[:x)][:x)][:x)]
