Supercharged V6 mk2 RS (BLWNRS)

ive finally put the start of this project on here. Be a long build i think so i was in no rush.
bought a mk2 rs with a 3L capri v6 with tripple webbers, celica 5sp and shortened falcon diff. Ugly flares and in udercoat.
well ive done a bit since then.
BA 290mm slotted front rotors and calipers from Hoppers Stoppers
ive replaced diff center with a slip resistant center, falcon pattern with new axels, 270ish back rotors and calipers of a ZH (coil) rear end.lowered the back 2 inches cut the flares back and a set of 15x7 falcon rims with 205-50-15. Tonight at the drags it done 9.87 @70.97Mh and a 0.65 reaction time(first time to the drags)
I have plans to put in a 3.8L fuel injected, supercharged v6 fom a ford thunderbird super coupe from the states. 170kw 450Nm at the fly standard. doing a few mods to it now(porting the super charger, big intercooler and piping, and 10% over drive in the supercharger so it should be good for 180Kw at the wheels, conservitive.[:x)][:x)][:x)]
Just to be different because i can.[:x)]

Well i got the motor sitting in a spare shell today. Fits in neat with enough room for the headers and plenty of room under the bonett.[:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)] Just have modify the sump, shorten the water pump and sort out the new pully system. Then wait till i have enough spair cash for a supra 5 speed and bellhousing. Then ill be well on the way.

Boy this is going to be a lot of work Well got a W57 supra box and a CRS belhousing. going to make up a new transmition tunnel and bit of the firewall so i can move the motor back about 30mm to make averything fit a bit better. I have got a 28 spline 3.08 falcon diff for the rear which i still need to cut down. so i have most of the drive line now.[:x)][:x)][:x)][:x)]
Just designing a 4 link rear that i can still get to keep my rear seat.(i hope) Using a top link from an El falcon as the top link, there is 120mm between the top link and the chassis rail for the coilover shock. Still working things out thou.

I looked at thoes phil but didnt realy like them much. I decided just to mod the original guards. Still should look original (just a bit fatter) unless you look close.

Well i have now got the front wheel arches all tacked in place and it has come up well. raised 45mm and pumped a little. covers my 17x8's easly. just have to tidy them up a bit, finish welding and smooth out with a little body filler.

    Nice.
Great to see someone doing something different. Always takes big balls to pioneer something and do it yourself.
Hope that it works out for you.

Doing the guards is a bit of a job. It took about 4 months to decide how to do it and about 1 1/2 days to get them all tacked on. I still have to finish welding them, once i am happy that they are right. Then pannel beat out any warping of the sheet metal from the welding and then smooth it all out with body filler. Im having a rapid learning curve about body work.
