Well I am still making an effort to have the car going for SFS this year.[%]
Tonight I drilled and mounted the strut tops into the body shell, Ordered my tail shaft and fitted a flange type yoke onto the diff ready for the new tail shaft. Next is onto all of the hydrolic lines for the brakes and clutch while I wait for the fly wheel to turn up from USA. I am getting the rediator inlet/outlet pipes altered tomorrow also so suit the motor.
So Simon, I am still trying to get[B)] there but i must be able to drive it on and off the trailer.

Get up early tomorrow and go down to supercheap or bunnings and find a $100 electric winch for your car trailer I have one and it will pull a full escort with flat tyres (have only tried it with 2 flats) onto the trailer, all you'll need will be a ok car battery and your set, they even come with the bolts to attach it to the trailer and the remote control ! getting it off surely wont be a problem and I'm sure you'll have plenty of willing helpers once you get to SFS.

DO IT !!!!! IT WILL BE WORTH IT ONCE YOU GET IT THERE :)

Thnaks for the encouragment but i could not get hold of a trailer that i could tow behind the falcon, this was the deciding factor.[B)]
Hahaha. a tow truck might cost a bit much from mildura, (6 hours drive each way)[:x)]
Next year for sure, It will still be a project by then, just i might be able to drive it all the way by then.
Hope you all have a great day, as i am sure you will.

Well is is now upto where i needed it by the start of feb[8~2][8~2]
I have cracked the poo poos and have decided to order a adjustable bias pedle box instead of making my own. can any one recomend who will be cheapest, I have priced palmside and eurospeed but i have lost brian's number from small ford spares.
i sort of have steering, (still needs a lower bearing on the column)exaust is on, radiator is in and it is running in the car on a tempory wireing set up. I can now select a gear, start it and move it to where i want to go[%]. (No clutch yet)
still moving forward, slowly.
Just done some mesuring of heights again. with my 205-50-15's on it mesured,
approx, 180mm front and rear from the ground to the sill[:u][:u],
approx, 65mm to the lowes point on the chassis (under the drivers floor pan)
approx, 45mm from the lowes point under the car. (exaust flanges)[88][88][88]
Luck i can adjust it up 80mm from there with the coil overs wich will alow me to pass a road worthy.[:p]
I need to get it onto a nice flat shed floor to take some good photos.[%]

Try Quickco at Holden hill in Adelaide SA for a bias pedal box. I bought mine from there a few years back at $550. Sorry i dont have there number but it can be found on the net. It was a brand new unit with wilwood master cylinders with good quality manufacturing. It was the mechanical clutch type but since then i have added in another cylinder for the clutch as it has that provision.

WOW. Its all I can say at the moment. WOW.
I was getting to the point that i was needing some inspiration to keep on working on the car, so i thought, I has the basics, breaks, steering and 4 wheels so i have just gone for a short test drive.(about 500m each way) It is in a very unfinished state, no tune, (I actually have one O2 sensors unpluged as i can reach to plug it in) no clutch, a slipping super charger belt and no intercooler and only making about 6psi boost[B)]
So select 1st and hit a tempory starter button i have conected to get it under way. from idle it PULL's, select second and WOW. turn around in second and from 800rpm it starts to pull and pull and pull.[:x)] I only went to about 60kmh (3500rpm at a guess)but i cant get over how this pulls. I have my inspiration now to keep working on it[%][:p][:p][:p][:p]
Guess i should get it put back together and a bit more finished so i can take it to the drag stip at least and have a proper run.[%]

luv the plates. That'le take the guesswork out of things for people you demolish at the lights lol.

So good to hear you have had a drive, even if its a short test. With that much torque in such a light car, I can only imagine how it pulls.. But what I'm imagining feels awesome.[88]

I have a bit to do before it relly gets up and goes, It is almost running in limp mode still with only one O2 sensor pluged in and the air coming from the supercharger is so hot i cant hold my hand on the outlet pipe. I have to get the intercooler plumbed up, there should be lots of HP to be gained there also. Then it might be more impresive[:u][:u][:p][:p]
I managed to get the O2 sensor pluged in today, have to see if it makes a differance[:I][:I]. made up new front bumper brackets that wont interfear with the intercooler piping.
Im still avoiding starting on the wireing loom.[B)][:I] I need 2 days dedicated to it and get it all done in one sitting[%]
