I'm really liking this car. Your engine bay is looking superb, and the colour and wheels combo is spot on too
Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming too.

been pretty sick lately. but starting to feel better and got a bit more done today.

got a new TIG welder so finally finished the seat mounts. ive never done much welding but my old mans mate does it for a living so he came round and gave me a few pointers. not the prettiest welding in history but should work

got the starter fitted. went in fairly easy, only just cleared the headers though

put the quater bumpers back on

cheers

next step is fitting the guages and wiring the whole car

finally a pic of some of the toys

small update. not much has been happening over the last few months on this car but im hoping to get back into it now.
made a very rough mock up of what im thinking with the dash this morning

i will add a few holes for warning lights on the final one.  i was going to make up a plate where the center consol area would be but with the way i sit in the car i couldnt see the guages very well. so i decided to see what they would look like in the origional dash area.
any thoughts??  i think it looks good but im sure there are better layouts around

cheers

another little update.
started wiring up the car.  have to do headlight to tail light.  so far ive mounted the battery and made a mock up of a switch panel, run wiring to the headlighs and got the tail lights sorted.
still need to wire up the ignition system and the guages/sensors.

so far... will look alot neater when finished

ive given myself a deadline of mid February so i have a month and a half to get everything finished.

spent a bit more time on the wiring today.

fitted up the gauge sensors to the engine and ran wiring into the cabin, also mounted the fuel pump and wired it all up. never been a fan of wiring but its coming along nicely.
got a few more parts coming soon. still aiming for mid febuary to have it running. will be cutting it close but im confident ill get it done.

at least i have a nice view from my shed while wiring :)

Awesome work mate.  The end is nearly in sight!

Where did you get your leafs done?

What are the plans for the car once complete?

Cheers

Matt
