getting close to finishing paint prep. still more to do but getting there anyway all the paint is now bought. i had a last minute change of heart on the color though[^]

cheers Rhys. it has got clear on it. the photos were taken on the phone camera so it dosnt really show it that well. Hopefully get some photos of it in the light soon

few more photos after a bit of a clean up.    also of the painted cage and floor  all in all im happy for a first time pantjob. just dont look too close lol. bit of orange peel happening and a few imperfections but it dosnt really bother me too much at the moment. only time will tell i guess

last of the engine bits arrived toady  alloy head   head stud kit  forgies  rods  inlet  clutch  lightened fly  adj tops  so now i just need to get a few parts machined and balanced and i can assemble.

Where abouts did you get those top mounts kr10?? Are they large hole or small hole?? I'm looking for some large hole adjusters but haven't have any luck!!

got Monday off work :) so i can take the parts down to the machine shop. getting the crank,fly and clutch balanced. the block tested and machined for the bigger pistons and some head work done too.

yes they are standard length.
i got all my engine bits off paul truelove (mk1 lotus on these forums)
had everything i needed plus all the stuff i never thought i would need haha

cheers for the support :)
dropped everything off today. getting the head machined to fit the bigger valves, the spring seats opened up to take the kent springs, the ports matched to the inlet and exhaust manifolds. also getting the block sonic tested and machined for the bigger pistons and everything balanced and a few other little things.
hopefully should have a motor ready to put together in the next few weeks
