bit of an update.
new parts arrived,

new filters fit nicely. look good too

with the fuel system im still running a standard fuel tank. ive got a swirl pot, lift pump and main pump to stop surge. also going braided line straight from the tank  here is a 5min mock up of what im thnking.

so it will run from the tank thru filter and lift pump, into the boot and thru the swirlpot and main pump. then back out thru the boot floor to the hard line.
thoughts on placement ect?

cheers

bit of a thread revival.  I cant believe its been over a year since ive done anything on this car.  its been sitting under a cover in the shed unloved. so close to being properly derivable.
With all the dramas of the other escort behind me i can now get back on track.  so the last few weekends ive been making a start on the fuel system.
i even got the old girl running on saturday.  the fuel system is all connected but still needs some final touches.i will be taking the car home ( now that i have a shed big enough) soon so hopefully i can get a bit more done on it.

stay tuned, in the mean time. here is a quick video of it running

That sounds awesome! Does it have a muffler on that side pipe at all?
As cool as the blue Mk2 is, this green one is the best. Love the sweet crossflow you've got in there.
