Correct Jamie Ive done the drivers side one only. The passenger side number, correct me if I'm wrong isn't used on any reference as far as rego goes. It is also stamped a lot deeper and previously very easy to read under numerous coats of 2pck paint. Thoughts ?

Hi Matt,
Not sure what the passenger side number is for. I've not seen it used for rego, but you never know I guess. If the other body numbers were lost due to accident/rust repair, then maybe it has been referred to, but it's certainly not on any compliance plate I've seen.
Cheers
Jamie

I also have a two digit number on pass side tower
was planning to ask what this indicates?
[x2x]
Have not seen a slam panel number on my 70 model
Could this have been removed in a prang repair ?

I know it's not something of interest or importance to many, but it is something I have wondered about. I'll do some research, present my findings and wait for the mocking to begin (or continue?).[B)]

I know this particular Gt Capri was ordered into Mortlock Ford in Fremantle & was ordered with the following options.
1) Mudflaps 2) Sport wheels 3) White trim 4) Driving Lights 5) Copper Bronze Metalic 6) Auto
My wife got in contact with Ford with the details of the compliance plate & they called back a week later with the details above, so does that make it a "delete" ?? who knows I know I dont.

Probably Not. The dead give away is the gt badges are on the qtr panel instead on the wheel arch .Also they dont normally have stripes or super roo stickers. If you get ford to send out the details they put in on a nice letter which adds to the value I think.

Thanks for the positive feedback, clear over base does look good straight off the gun but looks a awesome after rubbing back a coat of clear with 1500 then buffing but the engine bay will get that. Will start a projects thread in a week or so, hoping to have it ready the Street Machine Spectacular show in August but it looks a bridge to far at the moment but we will see !!.
