I seem to have a thing for broken cars... I don't know who I will get to tune it yet. Godzilla is who I want, but they are super expensive. 101 Motorcafe are great too, but they take too long and I want the car tuned before 2012. APC are quite good too, and I've been told GT Autogarage are good. Matty Spry did the last tune on my car but he was pretty lazy about it, the idle and cold start are perfect, but the way it comes on power is a bit weak. Yep, I still have the NX and it's still doing 10L/100km and has still never broken down so it's great! Despite how girly it is...

Yeah 101 are fantastic and they do brilliant work, my best mate bought Robbies old Supra and it's fairly nuts haha, and Varuns GTR is spastic. They quoted me only $650 for a full remap which is awesome too. Only problem is they take forever to get sh!t done. Having said that it would probably be worth the wait in the long run to have it done right. The cryo is just for the drags and a little bit of laughs. I've always had a heat soak problem with this car and I hate the look of turbo beanies so I'm gonna give it a go and see if it fixes it! If I have to run a turbo beanie then so be it, but the cryo will stay because it's pretty rad hahaha.

Yeah I've heard mixed things too, it was pretty cheap anyway so if it doesn't work I'm not gonna be too upset. If it stops me from needing a beanie and cutting holes in the bonnet then I'll be happy!

how much ceramic coating do you have? the race cars i play with have ceramic coated headers (on blown big blocks runnign 30psi and methanol) and the exhaust is almost grabbable straight after a run. and plenty of high horsepower jap boys run ceramic coated turbo mani and also rear housing.

So the blokes at NPC assured me they have a 10" single plate button clutch that will hold 600hp at the wheels, which made me very happy seeing as it's half the price of their twin plate, and I won't get that much hp from the current turbo, so it'll hold up just nicely. While I was at it I bought one of their lightweight finned flywheels.

My escort also has Ceramic coated headers and yes its just about grab-able straight after a drive. I will be getting my cosworth manifold and read housing done for sure. Its a worth while investment and its not even expensive. The riceline is looking sweet too Juiceman should be a rocket ship when its done mate.

I did look in to HPC coating but I won't be able to HPC coat the rear housing on this turbo because the jerk who did the downpipe welded it to the turbo so I can't get it pulled apart. I'm pretty p!ssy about that! So I may need a beanie after all. I'm planning on getting a good manifold and a Borg Warner S372 in the future anyways so I will get the coating done on that one for sure.
I'm so sick of driving the NX...it's desperate for attention too. Drive shafts are knackered which means no more J-turns for me hahaha.
