Juicemans Riceline - Back on the road.

So here's my new play toy to replace the Escort. Wanted a Supra, but just can't justify spending $15,000 on a standard car that's over 10 years old. So I settled for a Riceline...

GT35/40
Plazmaman plenum
Power FC + AVCR
Z32 AFM
GReddy front mount
HKS 4" exhaust
TEIN coilovers
front and rear strut braces
Bigger sway bars
C's original short shifter.
R32 GTR front seats

Anywho, it made 350.6hp at the wheels on only 16psi.

I'm probably going to ditch the power fc eventually for a Microtech, just because air flow meters are for girly girls hahaha.

I'm definitely going to ditch the GTR wing at some point and probably just go for the standard ironing board, just because it's not a GTR and never will be (unlucky for me).

It's quick as and the 255 Federals struggle like crazy in 2nd.

Don't hate.

upgrade to a power fc DJetro. they are afm-less, they use a map sensor. and for me, they are the best bang for buck ECU on the market. plug and play, so very easy to return to standard, and every tuner can use them, and they are very common, so easy to replace and find someone to work on them.

Nice car dude....great bang for your buck buy. They go hard, stop fast, corner well and you can get parts easily.

BUT! I see maybe 10-20 a day in traffic.....I see maybe 1 to 2 Escort's a week if I'm lucky. If you wanted a car that stands out.....you've just taken a big step backwards. At least the power will make you happy!

P.S. - Maybe some custom plates??????? WANAB RS That would be Ok![88]

Yeah they aren't very rare to say the least. I don't mind that it won't stand out though, I like that it's kind of unassuming, and I mainly bought it because of everything you just said, bang for your buck, aftermarket support etc. The other reason I got it was because Japanese people know how to wire a car, and the British don't, I am so over Lucas electrics! [88]

I have some custom plates I just thought of, I'm just hoping for PPQ to release a new type of plate called the "whole sentence number plate". When they do, I will get "I am the biggest hypocrite in the history of the world" because I always hated Skylines (especially the R33!!), until I drove one!

Its so true I hate them with a passion too but driving one, you just think oh god how can this be this good before crying at the amount of money you have spent on X a car :P

    Still would never own one.

Just thought I'd add this for the hell of it...it could be smoother, but right now I don't care, I'm just going to enjoy driving it for a while!

nice 33, probably not a bad idea in getting a microtech for it, as my brother has a power FC in his car and every tuner he has took it to struggle to tune it his also looking at goin down that track plus they are nice and simple to wire up aswell as the programe to tune it.

i dont mind any car weather it be classic or jap, but as you said they are absolutey good to drive and they cornern really god aswell as go and stop.

    have fun with it.

Hahaha there's no way I'm getting a bodykit, stickers, big wing etc etc. I hate that sh!t. I bought it with a cannon, I want to change it but I just don't know if I can be bothered.

The power is incredible, once it gets on boost it just flys. It's got good Federal 255s on the rear and in 2nd gear it still breaks traction.

Tim I haven't sold the other car yet, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not now, I'd rather sell it, but now that I have to drive to a train station every morning I think it'd be wise to use the NX for that!

    Cheers for all the comments.
