Thanks Lucas Bonnet vent looked a bit tacky when i first got the car as it sat above the bonnet line so i took it off & modified it so it now sits flush to the bonnet.

Nice start I think. It will come up great. The wrecking yard looks like it has a few treasures in it. The mk1, mk2 2 dr and the old falcons!! Don't see many like them.

You have done some great work there to get it from the wreckers to what it looks like now.
Good to see someone bringing some of the RS back to life.
Keep up the work and picks coming.

Color is called Bionic. It is used on BA-FG Falcon XR6's. Its actually not all that far off Olympic Blue. When i was choosing a color,i wanted something different to the usual red or white or yellow you see on most RS's but i wanted something that almost looked like a "period"color as well & this fitted the bill quite nicely. Thanks for all the nice comments guys[:I] I will take some pics on the weekend of some of the parts i have to go back on the car & add them here as well.

Well, blackouts are done on the nose now & the nose is dummy fitted back on the car Ive had a heap of parts zinc plated so i fitted the bonnet lock & safety catch. Had a few Ford badges made up in Carbon Fibre so i fitted one to the nose to see how it looks. Sorry about the last 2 pics...took them last nite & it was dark[:I]

Hi Chris, Who did the plating for you? Was it expensive? Cheers, Phil.
