I reckon it'd suit a 2 door pretty well! Get somebody to try and photoshop it if you're unsure.

man this is gonna be cool imagine these cars together cruising: (all owned by good mates of mine) - 1979 TD gemini (round light conversion, lowered, 5spd, stereo, blood orange paint, 1/2 way through a g200z (2ltr) conversion) - 1976 mk2 Escort (sexcort) (me) - 1974 datsun 120y (completely standard, and auto [:-(]) - 1974 mazda rx4 sedan, (has 1.8 piston 323 motor but getting swapped to a 12a rotary as i type) - and the future addition, (my mate has a 93 corolla and his parents forced him to buy it and now hes upgrading and he loves mk3 cortinas so there maybe a 5th member of THE LIGHTWEIGHTS haha.

You can machine your flywheel if your going for a new clutch. Balancing the bottom end will help with the vibration a angry 2lt can make, starters and alternators fall off once you start reving over 5000rpm. You will be eating your mates cars very soon, the spazda dude will want a Pinto before too long. I hate Gemini's no matter how clean they are. Cute puppy dude. Mark

Looking good mate! Love the orange on the manifold!
Good to see your giving her a respray!!
Keep the stripes you have i wouldn't do both, either one or the other. not 100% on your front grill though! but it certainly makes it yours, very unique!
