If you ever need to source a part from supercheap, search for it on their online store, it lists the part numbers and price. Then, armed with this information, walk in or ring and quote the number and price. If you look on the website, there is also escort rotors for $300, thats why you need to look for yourself. That, and the young kid in the store probably has no idea what an escort is, let alone the part numbers.

yeah cheers guys its been quite a battle, cost me a fair bit.

it definately crossed my mind of putting up with it. but i just love the car! lol.

im 18 in 8 weeks so its just in time! got to complete the savings for rego payment then its off! so hopefully within a fortnight!

just glad the headache is finally over.!

well the escort's booked into Vicroads next Friday!!

problem..

they dont recognize the engine number.. could this arise problems?
(i didn't make the appointment so i couldnt ask)

Make sure you have the complete number written down. When I did the vehicle check on my Mk2 about 15 years ago, I left one digit out of the number first time around and therefore it didn't work.
