well still hoping to hit my deadline (see signature)
the escort is on the trailor again, and ill be calling the mechanic 2moro so i can drop it off Saturday, have the mechanic replace the windscreen, adjust the headlights, and do another roady check.
anxious, and really just crossing my fingers..

well the guy seemed pleased with the first impression of the car, the place in hastings was closed till new years, so i took it to this place in mornington hoping to still catch my end of december deadline..
saw two Escorts when i dropped it off... sh*tty beige mk2, and a clean as red mk2, all i saw was the back of it so no idea what it was... i mean what are the odds though? lol

Haha yeah, I never saw Escorts on the road when I had mine, then the day that I sold it and got a deposit on the car I saw 2 of them. They were both sh!t tins, but still...
When do you hope to find out if it passes?

well he requested to see the list from the old mechanic, and if it passes a windscreen will be thrown in the mixture too. he said he will call me after he finishes the inspection, so either Tuesday or Monday.

yeah got it back, got my hopes up again lol [:x)]
theres a bit to do, but alot of it is like missing washers, or bolts.
sloppy sunvisor, (i always have it forward so completely forgot about it..)
but yeah ive just said "ill leave the car with you, do everything on this list"
so i got a labour and parts qoute, and its in my price range so yeah, unfortunately dont think it will get done by the end of december [8~2]
but owell.
im gonna miss the escort for a bit, but atleast it IS gonna get done now.. just gotta gather up a lump sum over the next few weeks of pay, and she will be back in my arms in no time..
