thats a nice phrase, i like that one.
i should get off my ass and look into the wiring diagram as to see if ive wired my alternator correctly. because i dont think i did.
either that or the alternator is dead.

haha yeah, when your smashed at 2 am and u get informed that your flight is at 6:00am and the taxi is at 4:00am i thought it would be a smart idea just to do an all nighter.. and now my body is very sore..
but yeah brakes are fitted and looking good, im really pleased with what u did before u dropped them off mish, (machined rotors, painted and machined hubs)
but i couldnt for my life get the rotors to fit with the backing plates on, i had to remove them and then they barely fit. hoping it doesnt get mentioned for the roady.
but yeah, after i bleed the brakes and get her rolling again, its back onto the trailor to the mechanic!

sorry should have mentioned that the backing plates get the flick and that it runs close the the outer tie rod end. its all normal. i was worried when i first fitted them, but after a yr they never split or melted that bit of rubber so its all good.
no worries about the paint and machine. figured it all helps for it to look pretty for roady.
PS was that a drunken tatoo

looking good sterling.
when i fitted my ventilated brakes i had to grind a tiny bit off the caliper housing as it was just dragging on the rotor.

good to see you've kept them silver, not racing red.
Give the brakes a few runs and have another go at bleeding them, u dont want to give away reasons for the inspectors to go looking for problems.
PS they look good behind the hotwires too, bonus

yeah they hotwires are pretty revealing, i got my mate to help me bleed the brakes today, and it came up with a pretty good feel, which is better than the feel i had with the old brakes to boot.
