Hi Sterling, What stage is the Cam & Size of the twins? Also With your bucket seats did you have to modify the rails? If you use the same rails, bolts & nuts getting it passed for safety should be fine. Thats if it is the same mounts, holes, rails, nuts and bolts.
You sure have come along way since the start. All your persistance will pay off and Your escort is going to be looking and running fantastic. Goodluck with the rest of it.
Cheers Rhys.

thanks for the kind words mate.
i dont know what "stage" the cam is, though it is a "Speco 4F2300 regrind cam" and what told it makes power from 2000-6500 rpm
and yeah the bucket seats are using the escort rails, and they line up in the origonal escort mounting points. and yeah all the nuts and bolts were used, no welding.
im so eager to try out the "performance package" lol
the carbies are twin DHLA40's, dellortos.

That's great with the fitting of the seats, usually you have to do a bit of modifying to get them to fit. The rev range on the cam you got is awesome, mine wont wanna move untill 3000/3200 lol
Your going to have some fun with those twins, once everything is sorted and and you have a good tune you will be blown away... And the noise those twins make is gold [:x)]
Becareful though, when i got my car going a %100 with the twins i lost my license [B)] lol

They came with the car when I bought it. I had 12 x 5" stockies on my escort when I got my roady, the alloys on there at the moment are Performance Tempest I think, 15 x 6.5 J. You are only allowed 1 inch increase in width, they are .5" too wide ! The vehicle inspector said to me he doesn't care what I did with the wheels once I had the certificate, I could change them if I wanted to.

The real reason it's on stands is because you're putting a cut down 9" to go with the 4.6L modular motor with a Kenne Bell bolted on that you've secretly got hiding in the shed somewhere, you just didn't know you were doing it until now.
I'm bored, can't you tell?
