Thats great power Phil, awesome package. Sounds like you've reached the limitations of the stock cams!! Woz

ROBOCOS (are you in brissy?) mike vine fitted my turbo, but couldnt tune my car. BPS (bayside performance services) in Cleveland is looking after the live mapping of my ecu. waiting for a new program to arrive from Germany.

On the Sunny Coast but good to know about live mappers for Cossies. Best let this thread get back on track.

come on allan you know that you should have fitted a cossie in that awesome blue escort.... [:x)]
300kws is achieveable in a cossie with a small turbo also.. racemap has proved that already.
best of luck phil!
ROBOCOS i will let you know about the mapping via PM..

Hey allan. my father has a spray painter at his work shop who owns a 180sx with 612bhp to the wheels 2L sr20 no stroker kit etc.... thats pretty impressive for a "cheap jap" engine [:x)] he is hitting it out with some bird here in queensland for the highest hp sr20 engine... and its not just a dyno queen.. he ran a 10.9 @126mph a few months ago!
Phil will make the power... probably needs a rebuild as the engine is getting tired of the abuse!!! but definetly 300rwkws is achievable.

What needs to be considered here is that Phil is trying to get to get the maximum possible area under the curve, which involves keeping the boost threshold to the minimum RPM with max torque at the lowest possible RPM and still achieving the desired output. The actual figure is just a number to reach (as set by him). There are plenty of things that can be done to get that number quickly, but not with the desired curve. All of these expectations are set by the owner. Much discussion has been done between us and others. We have very similar expectations; it is going to be most interesting to see the 2wd v 4wd manifold for torque, boost threshold and peak power. If interested, just hold on a few months and we will see how things pan out in the end. We wish Phil all the best with the rebuild. Knowing Phil, it will be totally mental.[%]

It's ok I'm just egging him on. I think he got that. I'm sure he will get the numbers easy. But theres no harm in having a bit of fun egging him on till them
I know Allan[;^)]Be assured Phil has never needed motivation, each week there is some new contraption, part or brake upgrade going on.

Yeah![(#)][88] ...You can always use less throttle,[;^)] but that would be silly[88]
