Thanks ! I think it came close to 2.2ltr or 2176CC's thereabouts. The dyno guy said if I had 45s I'd get nearly 115kw, but more of a dog to drive in traffic !

So what a terrible afternoon. Took my car to Roo Systems in Banyo for the dyno test. I meet Glen at front counter, nice guy. Sign the disclaimer and hand my keys over. He tells me I'm not allowed in the workshop, I can watch from 40 metres away. Hmm, so I decide to walk in anyways because I'm wearing steel caps and hi vis work wear, but keep a distance of say 20 metres. Glen finally hands the keys to the dyno operator (no introduction), he'd been on his mobile phone. The operator completely ignores me as he walks past and brings in my car. Now not feeling all that comfortable with this mob. Then as he's backing my car up the ramps, the front left tyre comes dangerously close to the edge of the ramp before I call out to warn him he's about to f#ck my car!!! If I wasn't there this boofhead would have dropped the front of my escort off an 800mm high loading ramp. So I walk over, he gets out. I say Hi. Nice to meet you.... a bit of meet and greet eh? Wouldn't go astray. He takes offense and calls off the test. Takes my car out of the workshop and that's the end of that (after some spirited feedback in main office!) I've been in touch with some other dyno opertators and asked all the right questions to make sure I don't have the same experience again. I started a thread on RSM some time ago asking for recommendations around Brisbane but no one replied. I wish somebody had've

Sh!te Haydn, that's hopeless. Sounds like you're better off out of there for sure. Frustrating when you're all gee'd up to see the results though!

That sucks Haydn. I'm quite into my 4wding so see alot of Roo Systems advertised and Glenn in mags/dvds etc. Hopefully it was only the dyno operator with the bad attitude? Either way you need someone that wants to treat your car or atleast appear to treat your car with the same respect you would. I'm not in QLD so cant help recommendations, surely someone on here has someone they can recommend for you. Best of luck. Rhys

Finally got the new engine all sorted. Very happy with the results - 154 RWHP (113KW?) at just 6800RPM. Many thanks to Paul at Fourd Performance and Yavuz at Unigroup Engineering.

Thanks Haydn. Looking forward to khanacross at the end of the month, see if I can get close to our clubs guru in his MR2 special. How's things going with yours?

Sounds great. I've just put a new (second hand) pedal box in, the other was falling apart. I won't have a chance to get on a dyno for at least a few weeks due to work committments. Have fun at the khanacross :D

I think this the motor with Sierra manifold. Saw something on facebook a while back. Huge numbers there! I was thinking of going a GT3071R but worried about lag. What do you reckon Milan :D?
