Not sure if im using a mk2 tank anymore, only pic i have of it mounted with folded ally flatbar. Just bolted through the floor with big washers. Mount it off centre like a mk2 so you have room for a muffler.

Thanks  Simmons are sold and going on another very cool turbo mk1. Not sure if i can fit fr17s under standard escort rear tubs, with the ride height i want (low). Engineer will be around within the next month hopefully to tell me if i am allowed to tub and 4 link it  nige

I bought some glass guards a few months back. They didn't fit as well as i had hoped, and have taken quite a lot of work to both sheetmetal and the fglass to fit. I am fairly happy with how they are now, altough there are some symmetry issues where they bolt to the front panel. Have also sold the fr17s, now replaced with 16 inch BBS RS wheels. I was amazed how light these are compared to the Simmons. Welded crush tubes for cross member mounting also.    highlights not looking too bad
