Not much to report as have been in Sydney working a bit. Engine has had oil squirters machined into block and have also been busying myself replicating the RS500 throttle body. RS500 throttle bodies are rare as hens teeth but a little while ago someone made some bare castings - I am now making the guts to it. I should have just bought a complete manifold as buying it in pieces has almost cost me as much. Also got the dry sump pump - took ages to come from US - as I needed the power take off in the rear of the pump for a power steering pump. Also started another rear beam for a mate so will take some detailed pics of the conversion for the cossie people. Got some pics from a mate and figured out that the DJR sierra's mounted the roll cage to the front beam pick up points so going to mod the cage again [B)]

Mounted the dry sump pump. Made this so it's low and forward so I could fit the power steering pump to the rear of the dry sump pump. Ended up struggling so will have to buy a group a style engine mount kit with straight arms. Had to machine deeply into the standard power steering mounting to get the pump in close. Power take off to mount power steering pump. Going to use a HD KSE pump as it is only 73mm thick. Spigoted an adaptor onto the aux pulley driven by 3 solid dowells. Got a 50% crank pulley set and a %54 crank pulley set to try. Engine is close. Have done the mountune oil squirters, deck height, solid lifters, cc and compression ratio and valve reliefs. Got 7.4:1 with little piston machining so pretty happy.

Ok got the car ready for painting today and was all set to send the creative carbon bonnet (weighs 6kgs) off to get painted white on top but hit a bit of a stumbling block when i fitted it.... and it looked awesome. The weave does not come out much in the photo's What do you think? I am going to have to paint it I think as it may look a little ricey.
