Sierra Track Car

OK - finally finished a few pieces to show you guys.

My new front brakes.

355mm diameter 6 pot billet calipers. The calipers are off a well known Australian built sportcar with HSV connections, the disks are DBA and the rest custom made. If anyone is interested in a set they will fit 2wd cossies and can be 330, 343 or 355 mm diameter. I will also do a four pot set.

I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Not so sure - I have got the 355 under motorsport 17's.

Could easily try if you bring me a rim.

I am going to make a set for my mates MK1.

Brake setup is looking good Lincoln, did you fabricate the hubs yourself for the centre lock wheels? The sierra will definitely look the part with the bbs split rims on it.

Yes mate - despite what they look like they are hollow - I thought that it would look better if they looked solid - but am going to machine the end off them so they look a bit more racey (at the moment they look fake).

I cannot decide whether to go gold or black centres. I may have to enlist someones photoshop skills when to help me decide.

I have made the hub so that the top hat for the brakes mounts to the back of the hub so that my track is not widened by heaps (the offset difference is 40mm!!) - although I have got adjustable top mounts, adjustable tca's and coilovers to bring everything back into line.

OK - car is going this week to start the rollcage. I will get picks as I go along but are basically copying a few group a cars ideas.

Anyone with pics of group a cars interior could they please email them to - lincolno@andeng.com.au - would be much appreciated.

I have also gone a bit old school a bought a brand new T4 turbo (56 trim, flowed wastegate, enlarged penny, maram shaft and maram exhaust wheel). It was a bit dear but should prove unburstable.
