Escort strut rubber dust boots

Hi all,
 
I live in the nanny state (WA), so have a sneaking suspicion that my van project won't pass a roadworthy inspection without the rubber dust boots that fit over the front struts ('cause without them the car might spontaneously explode or something). Anybody got a spare set they'd like to part with?

Hey mate, just been out to the shed and my spare set are missing the boots too so can't help there. Are they 2ltr or 1600 struts? Will keep an eye out...

Good question Paul; I'm only assuming they did because my other car has them. Mind you, I know they are aftermarket inserts, so maybe they came with them. Thanks for the photo too; is part 3025 supposed to be the bump stop that Marty referred to? I may end up raiding car number one for the boots to fit to car number two. Both cars have 2 litre struts, so although the swap may be painful to do, at least I know they will fit.
 
Next problem - getting the old inserts out - one is different to the other, they have different means of screwing them in, and I have the right tool to undo neither! Any suggestions for getting the buggers out?

Car number two seems to be lacking those too! Oh well, it will have to do without them, and the boots will hide them at least.

Follow up post to show what a stock combination bump stop / dust boot looks like (for reference). I have my suspicions about whether it should be used with lowered cars though, as it could prevent sufficient suspension travel (the bump stop portion is about 2.5" or 63mm). That could explain why they weren't fitted to car #2.
