Aluminium bell housing to suit Pinto, Xflow

Haydn KCF Rally sport @ Narangba had them in stock last time I spoke to Keith, he also has allsorts of other goodies. I think they where about $450.00 1/12 Robart Court Narangba Ph. 32031506 Rodney

Hey Rod.Thanks for the heads up mate. Same cost as Burton but no shipping costs which is great. Do you know if they're LH starter as opposed to LH + RH starter? Cheers

I was told that you can use the alloy bell housing from the automatic box with an adapter plate. Ill try to find out more if anyone is interested.

from memory the bell housing is the same configuration as a standard 2ltr one.

So auto bell housing bolts straight up to manual box, but need to cut out the area for clutch fork?

Probably a daft question but whats the main reason to use the auto bell housing behind a manual box, is it purely for the weight saving ?

You'll need to locate, drill and tap a hole for the clutch fork and make a spacer to get the pivot point right aswell. Don't see auto boxes that often let alone a separate bellhousing, go with the proper manual alloy housing, they're not badly priced and it'd save a lot of messing about.... Cheers Drew.......
