Wheel rim machining

Hi all,

Can anyone reccomend a wheel shop in Melbourne who can machine the face of my Capri 4 spokes to look like this pic. They have been cleaned and powder coated black and now need the rims machined.

Advanced Alloy Wheel Repair in Moorabin just off South Road did a great job on my Euro Mk2 RS alloys.

    Thanks for the reply's guys.

I was quoted $200.00 per wheel to cut and polish each rim. I reckon that is expensive for what is a tiny 13 inch wheel. I am now thinking of trying to polish these myself, has anyone tried this?

For $200 a wheel I sure as hell would be trying to polish it myself!

For comparison, I had a wheel repaired recently; it had a huge chunk out of the rim along with various gouges and scratches, and that cost $160 to weld, machine and repaint in silver.

I have been trying to fit 6x13 four spokes to my Escort Mk1 as I think Middland wheels 7x13's are a bit to wide, but these prices for refurb inc the others are just not worth it. Thanks for the reply

Yes at $200ea they clearly don't want to do the work.
I'm getting a quote to have some of mine done at the moment. Waiting to hear back on a price.

Try Neway Wheels in Heidleberg West
    http://www.newaywheelrepairs.com.au/profile.html
They repaired a set of Hot wheels for around $90 a wheel that was a few years ago but still worth a shot
