I've got one - but located in Qld so that probably doesn't solve your problem given the need to freight it

Some people make things happen, others watch it happen and others wonder what just happened - which one are you?

depends on condition also, where is it cut?

I'd have to check but it would be cut 2-3 inches from the top of the A/B & C Pillars

a four door roof can be used also, from the c pillar upper seam to the a pillar upper seam i am lead to believe that they are the same roof skin and possibly structure. i have a four door for my yellow 2 dr that will need a new roof as its rusted and bent and has a sunroof hole that i dont desire.
Can stand to be corrected about this though. Thats what i have been lead to believe like i said.
    Cheers

No dramas, thanks anyway. Would prefer full length pillars.

My understanding is a 4 dr roof skin can also be used.

However a two dr is a far easier repair. The car I have previously had a roof skin repair, this has lead to rust in top of c pillars and along drip channels. Including down the a pillar.

Location is Melbourne ill update profile. Thanks for the replies.

    Jonzee Mate,
The lead you are talking about at the pillars is a factory finish , "NOT A RUST REPAIR"
All unbutchered factory escort turret seam joints are spot welded, brazed in the corners and then lead loaded.
There is no difference in the turret skins 2 door to 4 door.

Hi. I have a good roof on a Mk2 GL 2 door. I've been using this for parts and will be disposing of the shell once done. Many of the panel have taken hits or have rust. I roof is in good condition. There is significant rust at the bottom on the passenger side C pillar (usual place). Let me know if you're still looking.

    Hi Jonzee,

I've tried replying to your PM but it says your not accepting PMs. I've taken some photos of the shell with the good roof. Let me know if you're still interested and I will post.
