Hi, First I just noticed its a 2 year old post, did the project go ahead? Yes I did think of the 2ltr v4, there is one on another forum being restored (mk2 Cortina with a v4). I remember the v4 Transits when they were common on the road. I thought they sounded like they were missing. I remember a Mk1 Esky van in the late 70s with a V6 and side pipes, sounded great. I am after that 70s/80s look and sound with a low tech engine. I have plenty of rust to deal with that gives me time to work out the body mods and running gear.
