DIY with a circular file for the easy slotted option. A machine shop should be able to help with the offset bush idea but I've never heard of this one being done...just an idea I had. I have heard of someone doing the infill with molten steel option - I think they went to a foundry!

Drop them off to my place along with caliper kits and I will rebuild them for you.

Matt,
with your last post, saying these arrived today, did you end up ascertaining you didn't have the right ones in the first place? if so, the ones you ended up getting, were they the ones without any writing on them?

Ionix,

Yep, the first pair I had were from the earlier volvos and not suited for the vented rotors.

The replacement ones I got were without any markings.

It's a bit confusing as they both use the same pad size so the only way is to work out whcih is which is that there is no markings and the distance between the pistons to ensure the wider vented rotors fit.

Thanks Matt!
You dont have any more of those adapters by any chance?
Also, any idea what I should be paying for these from a wrecker?
One more question, what do you reckon youd approximate gap would between the pads?

Hi Mate,

I don't have any adapters but just email Breck direct (breck1969@yahoo.com) and he'll sort you out.  Great guy.

Don't have the pad distance measurements but the rotors are 18mm thick so as long as you have this ammount you'll be cool.

From a wrecker you be looking at $30 - $45 per rotor I would reckon.

Keep an eye on ebay for them as they pop up regularly and also for 240 Volvos being wrecked as well.

What are doing for master cylinders?

Any more questions let me know.

Cheers

Matt
