Rear Rally Pack Bumper

Does anyone have the above for sale?

I have a crome bumper with the rubber insert (in excellent condition) I can add to the swap.

I live in Melbourne Easter Suburbs.

Cheers

What do you mean by a rally pack rear bar?

I always thought they were just a standard bar. They certainly didn't have the long end caps that the RS had.

I have a standard rear bar without the rubber that was chrome but someone has painted black if you want it.

I am also in the outer east.

My understanding is that when you remove the rubber from the standard bar there are holes that the rally pack one doesn't have.

I hope i'm wrong as i'll paint the one I have.

Mk2 Rally Packs had unchromed black bars with no rubber. The fronts were the short bumperettes, while the back was a standard bar (no RS ends), but unchromed and black...

XL's, GL's and Ghias had the chrome ones with the rubber strip and the L models had the full chrome with no rubber. If you remove a rubber strip there are a number of rubber rectauncular holes in the bar that used to hold the rubber strip on.... The rS rear bar was shoerter than a standard bar, with the ends virtually cut off and then some plastic end caps that fitted over the ends to wrap them round so they are then longer than the standard rear bar...

    Thanks Dr Nick!

Matt, the one i have was originally a "L" bar so it has no holes and was originally chrome but has been painted black.

I also have a pair of black front bumperettes that i will be selling if you are interested.

    Thanks GDub,

Do you have any pics you could post and what price do you want?

I already have the bumperettes so I'm cool there.

    Cheers,
