A Standard ecu should cope with the supercharger so long as a few other things are taken care of first and provided the ecu doesn't run a map sensor.
I don't know how the mondeo is set-up ( I think it's a map sensor). If it is a map sensor the standard ECU won't cope.
If the ECU runs a hotwire or flap style Air flow metre you'll be right as the ECU will register the amount of air going in. The only thing you will need to change will be the fuel injectors as they will be running close to their duty cycle. The only other thing which may cause issues is your ignition timing and ignition curve. If it runs a distributor with electronic ignition then you might be able to get it recurved to suit the boost application. If the ECU controls it, then you might need to get a seperate ignition only module. There are always going to be a few variables with this type of set-up, but nothing that can't be overcome, especially when you throw money at it!!
If it runs a map sensor, you will need to change that to one that suits boost and vacuum. Only problem is the ecu won't recognise the boost side of it and shut down.
This is for low boost applications only. Anything more than 6+psi and you will have issues.
Hope this helps you.
