I think this the motor with Sierra manifold. Saw something on facebook a while back. Huge numbers there! I was thinking of going a GT3071R but worried about lag. What do you reckon Milan :D?

I always thought based on previous reading the Sierra manifold didn't flow too well for big figures.... looks like if its pumped through with enough force it does fine?

Nice work!

What is you engine spec Milan and do you have a photo of the graph with the rpm visible?

Thanks, SHaun

Hey, 2L with forged internals, ported head, oversize valves, sierra intake, GT3076 with .63 housing, 3inch exhaust etc etc

Dont have it with rpm, its going back on the dyno soon for more power so ill get a graph with RPM.

Mines pretty laggy, but the cam that was in it was not suited to a turbo engine. Ive now changed the cam and should come on alot eariler. Your GT3071R should be great, i should have got the same turbo as you.

Cheers

Nice one. I never bought that turbo, I went with a GT2860RS. Made 271hp at the tyres yesterday. The car has one more run in the morning after swapping fuel pumps and should get 300 or very close to it. E85 with 16 pounds of boost, 6000rpm.

Thanks Rhys. Final figure was 301hp 20psi. Standard Sierra injection manifold & throttle body.
Did you know the throttle body size on a SR20DET is smaller than SR20DE? That's how I knew the standard sierra one would be ok :)

Yes I've read that somewhere. All good knowledge, stuff I should have found out earlier and saved myself a few hassles
If/when I finish that car, its likely to be on a std Sierra inlet.
