ca18det anglia...

hi all, just new to the forum and from what i can see the cars are of an excellent quality , just thought i would share my anglia pictures to see what you all think. At the minute the car is off the road getting a t34 turbo with nitrous fitted but before when these older pictures were taken i managed to get a 13.8 second quarter with 216rwhp. The pics are old but they are the newest i have...
the only engine pic before the car was fully done:

thanks for looking

jim

Hi, Thanks, its 16inch wheels off of a ford mondeo that im running just now.

Would have kept the pictures of my car up to date but iv only just found the address again.

Since last time the engine and the car have underwent a lot of changes...

The spec is now roughly as follows..

    *T34 turbo
*Custom chipped ECU, ( in the process of being changed over for a programmable omex )
    *RX7 front mounted intercooler
    *Top mount turbo manfold
*3 inch exhaust back to the axle
    *50hp NOS system

Etc....i will post more if anyone is interested.

The car has also now made 270rwhp on low boost but the quarter time has only moved up to 13.5 at 110 due to lack of traction.

New video to show lack of grip [:p]

And a pic of roughly the cars current state....

    Hey Jim,

Know your car real well! Superb bit of old school cool. Great to see you have decided to come and join the Japanese Horsepower religion[^] - You won't be disapointed with that choice.

How about a few 'action' pics?

    Cheers

    Thanks for the comments there!

Well the car will still have they alloys for now but I have just bought original RS steels for it to put my slicks on for drag racing so some of the time the wheels will be 13".

The only other pictures I really have the now are as follows ( These were taken about half a year ago at a rolling road engine setup )

    http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y114/ekjim/Picture065-1.jpg"img<

And a power curve from that day..( whp )

At the minute the car is back in the garage..

Im changing the back end setup again to try again to get the power to the ground. I also have an OMEX programmable ECU that I am about to install to try and squeeze out some extra power

Pics of this will be put up as progress continues...

    Thanks!

    Jim.
