I know where they are, but they are in a box in the roof of the shed and its going to me 1 or 2 hours just to get the box and I have to move a car just to get the ladder in the right place[}:)]

I also forgot to mention I finally got a black left hand door handle.
With the engine the cylinders have been bored out by 20thou and between the head and the block has 25thou has been romoved. I've only done 320k's with the new engine and its already more powerful then the old one

I thought to dig this thread from the dead and post some updates on the RS

The new engine is going great. I changed the carbie because the old one was causing problems at idle it liked to idle at 900-1100rpm. With the new carbie its down to 500rpm even though the choke isnt working, also changed the air filter.
Now its revving easier and is running slightly cooler and had changed how the car sounds. Hopefully it should have a 2 1/4 inch exhaust with two 45 degree bends in about 2-4 weeks. Photobucket

500rpm may be a little low i think. 900 is normally on the money. motor looks nice and clean.

(sorry about the delay) Its actually quite smooth, even though if I brake real hard I can stall it. At 900rpm its seems to be idling too fast.

New exhaust has been fitted, 2 1/4 inch from the collector in the extractors to the very end of the tail pipe. Torque increase has been quite good and it has become a nicer car to drive with less noise (and or rattles inside) and more exhaust noise.
The new exhaust has to 45 degree bends instead of the two 90's

But its not all good news, I have discovered the gearbox is leaking oil[}:)] and the seals are only 2 yrs old, and where I have been parking at TAFE now has oil spots
