Suggestions which brake setup

hi guys

im looking for solutions to my brake setup, I have a zetec on my mk1
was thinking of going with a Gatrac style system, no booster.
but was told I might need a booster for engineering purposes, looking at the engine bay looks like space might be limited so a remote booster might be best option.

what is everyone’s suggestions? And if you have pictures for reference would be great.

thx
bru

If you going a bias box that will need to locked once the balance is set, locked as in split pinned so it can't be adjusted or move while driving. That's the dumb law here in SA. As for vac booster there's a remote booster that hotrods use called a VH44 , old valiants and the escort twin cam had them as standard. Mount it above the light cover under the wing or the front corner in the engine bay. They aren't very big and if you get the ratio right with mc etc you almost don't need one, it'll be there to satisfy the establishment only . Oh, by certain laws you only need the fronts boosted not all brakes.

thanks Marty, yes been told about VH44. Been trying to get my head around where i would position it but you just mentioned around inner wing or front area behind headlight.
looks like i will go with that set up instead.
My master Cylinder might need refurbishment, but lmight be worth just buying a new one.
