There wasn't much choice back then, globes, jelly beans, hustlers, cross wires were the main go to choice.
My brother owned 1 of a few made twincam escort in mulberry which has Globe Bathurst wheels from the original dealer as option.

As Marty said, Globes were available then, but I dont think they were ever offerred as factory options from the dealer like maybe with the Falcons etc. They would have been fitted aftermarket.

You could get the Rostyle, or the "Minilight' syle, alloy hub with steel rims as Ford options, both being only 5.5", so looked skinny IMHO.
Sad to say, I have or have had, all of the wheels mentioned.
    I put new Globe wheels on the Capri about 30 years ago;

When I bought them new about 30 years ago, I was annoyed that the tyre shop got my order wrong. They were meant to come machined with a cap that covered the wheel nuts. That style was the rage, probably for 6 months or so.They got sold a few years ago. How is the budget bumperettes? Chopped up a perfectly good front bumper to make them.
That was years before buying proper examples.

The Original ford wheels I had are now on another members Capri on the forum.
Capri's look good with any wheel!

I remember when Performance wheels took over from Globe Bathurst in the 80s not knowing to me I bought a set and the spokes were thinner at the lug radius, just looked rubbish from the original J rims in the 70s . I came across a set of ex rally Globes with the smooth rim (J) and painted in sporty rally white. Later found out they were cursed from previous race/rally cars either killing or very hurting the occupants, yikes. I finally imported a set of 6x13 original RS 4 spokes and put the Globes on the Escapee I was selling.

funny how some things get cursed.
I've chucked out tools that have bitten me too many times, usually preceeded with 'ooh you little [link=mailto:b@stard"]b@stard"[/link] then flung in the bin.

You could have a corrupt ghost in your toolbox, we call them Bozz Foddys. We've all been there, working away at a project and put a spanner or other tool on the bench for later then when you come back to use it only moments later it's gone. Look all around the area and where ever you think it was then come back to the bench and it's right there, staring at you. They also make the tool a damage maker denting parts or denting fingers... Has anyone else encountered a Bozz ?
Deano I tried to load that link but no good lol, yes I know it's all cussing hehe..

Yep budget bumperettes Deano. I cut the lip off the front wheel arches of my first MK1 Escort so I could put a flare on the guards. No money, no brains

On the rear of the rim there is no name of company’s
Only a circle of dots raised
Also a stamp mk2 punched on the rear of a spokes
Would it likely be from 1970s or maybe from the 1980s?

    Some reason can’t send pictures
Dad said it is an original wheel made by globe in 1982
13x7 to the out side of the rim more than 6.5 measurement on the inside
Not sure how it all works
    Front had 165r13 back 185/75sr
Well that’s how he understood it
Number inside the circle represents the year they were made
If available may just go with the same size or something wider rear tyre
    Do they make wider tyres
    Was told no
That’s him trying to save a dollar or two
That smash car is being looked at this weekend
    Dad thinks it’s repairable
If so my sister Laura has put her hand up for it.
So it could be a while before I see an escort or cortina

That smashed one looked really bent into the cabin, the steering wheel looked like it broke on impact from the driver, wonder if the seatbelt broke. Reckon the driver walked thru the pearly gates with that accident which is sad.. To get repair parts is get another car and cut everything off but in the end it's virtually reshelling it with some saved parts.

A bit late but to load pics you'll need to go in the main site and then where you write it'll have at top of the window 'open full version' you can access this on the phone and load pics. For some reason pics don't go past about 47% loading when on normal phone view
Globes usually came in 5in, 5.5in and 6in in 13in rims , measure from the bead not outside of rim, I bit hard when tyres are still on. My MK2 has Chevoit Star 13 x 6.5 on a cortina offset I think so the sit in a little, tyres are only 185 65 , I used to drive it sideways a lot lol

I thought the same, especially as the windscreen is also missing.

Yes the belt had broken seat also.
seat un bolted. If the case the driver has passed away. He or she would be happy it’s going into good hands.
Car had minor restoration, all tyres not road worthy.
Rear seat belts in worse condition.
We both have been looking on line, searching what pressed panels and floors are available
Depending on the rain the front of the car will be cut away to remove the engine.
If it’s going to be repaired only new parts will be used. Plan is full custom v8 flash interior suspension wheels
Can it be done who knows
    The wheels are stamped
    Globe aust

    Mk2 punch on
As well as that 82 in a circle
    In poor condition not bent
