Project

I’m still searching for a new project , for dad to help build. Advertised on line was a capri 10/72
Being sold here in Canberra.
Less than 200 metres away from where he works.
Of the one being advertise there was actually three of them
After dad looked at the one I wanted because of the red interior
He said no.
Reason was he can’t weld for ****
Those in the know should probably get down to Canberra
Buy unseen not advised

    Hi Reeni.

Well done inspecting before buying : It’s the only way not to get your fingers burnt and your heart broken!
Prices are so high, you really need to get value for money and not SCAMMED.

    Best of luck Reeni

We have decided to at least one of the cars at auction, if there is others here wishing to bid
Let me know so I don’t drive the price up on you befor settling on another

    Thanks
If cheap enough I’m looking at buying the smashed one for its wheels. Damaged dad said can be repaired and chromed or polished painted
Bids on all three have been placed
YCUT is the buyers name used
If no one else is interested on the forum in the others I might just buy them
If affordable at end of the auction

I went as high as 3100 on the candy apple red
And tiook the other only up to 1500 because very little chance of repairing all rust and panel damage
The smash ed car I was willing to go as high as 1500. I liked the wheels that much as well as being dad’s favourite
    Total cost 1170
Dad thought the previous capri buyers would have biddef becouse those two cars had a lot of rust hidden by the spare wheel and parts
This one is not nearly as bad so I’ve been told.
Just maybe the front end is repairable
If not I can’t wait to see these wheels repaired

I would have tried to buy a couple of them if I had the room, the grey one and one of the red ones was originally Yellow Glow.
