Many factors to consider, they should be ok on 5.5" but the road feel will suffer slightly due to the side wall flex, this is worse on 5" rims . Check the inside rim to sit leg gap as that's where things start to rub first, the outside should be fine and might need a little arch rolling to reduce scraping.
My MK2 used to run 7" with 205x60 and it scraped everywhere even after rolling and lightly flaring the arch. A lot of us here with 13s use 185x60/65 tyres whether the rims are 5" or 7" wide .

We do have proper original equipment tyres from Pirelli

    145R13 Pirelli Cinturato CA67
    155R13 Pirelli Cinturato CA67
    165R13 Pirelli Cinturato CN36
    175/70R13 Pirelli Cinturato CN36
    185/70R13 Pirelli Cinturato CN36

they handle far better on these proper peiod tyres compared to modern tyre carcasses, yes tarmac racing cars did fit 205/60R13 tyres but they were very modified to try to keep the foot print on the road. all sorts of things that make for not a very nice road car,

fitting these proper tyres is to improve the handling.

If it is just for a concourse car then an ny old tyre will do.
