Sigma rear disc hand brake is very similar to Escort, when I did mine all I did was shorten the handbrake rod and drilled to holes (one for each side) for clevis pins, other wise my handbrake cable is completely standard.

A little while back I bought some RS seats off Shaunb, and I finally got them back from the trimmers today (after much stuffing around on their end), but it doesn't matter how long it took, because the car still isn't anywhere near being finished! [8~2] Download Attachment: DSCF1094.jpg136.2 KB (note that it is not my bed on the right hand side with the awful quilt thing on it, it's a TV cabinet that's just been covered up so that our labrador pup doesn't ruin it...just thought I'd clear that up )

Sure, though i can see the corner of your broom broom racecar pillow [88] Seats look good, hit the rails with a nice coat of black. didn't on mine the first time, ripped them out and sprayed the freakers

Hey Matt I got them done at Annvid at Capalaba. A lot of work was needed with them because the frame on the passenger seat was snapped etc etc etc, but it was $770 to get them repaired and trimmed. Here's a picture of them before they got done. Download Attachment: DSC01251.JPG143.53 KB

That doesn't seem too bad. I was quoted 1000 for my seats and they look to be in better nick than yours before they were done. Might check them out when I get the exterior sorted. Thanks

I'm not sure where you could find a set of RS seats, they're generally hard to come by. Just keep a look out on these forums and whatever other Euro ford forums there are for some [;^)]
The rubber I've got at the moment is just some Nexen 185s which are pretty useless, I used to have 205s but I quickly wore the outside of the back tyres down from scrubbing! I'm not sure what sort of tyre to get now, haven't had any luck finding any decent rubber in 13"
Cheers, Josh.

I like the seats,Ive got a set that need to be retrimmed soon, that are twices as bad as what yours were before they were done,I supose Im up for a bit then.
However I do have a spare set of brown scheels out of an Ambo,Im putting on eBay in the next few days, they are not excactly the same as RS spec scheels but at leasts they are in good order. The sale will cover some of the cost of the retrim for my RS items.

Yep no good haha. On a good launch there I didn't get traction until halfway through 2nd gear. I still beat the bloody worked SSS Pulsar racing me though [88]

It was on private property, I swear! [xx(]
That was the only time I've ever done a proper street race thing, I'd much prefer to go to a drag strip and do it there because if something breaks you're not stuck on the side of the road, and you can't get into trouble haha.

Another quick update... should be running within about a month and a half, then it'll be time to move onto the interior! I don't have any update pictures or anything yet except for my dual throttle cable setup. Download Attachment: dual throttle cable.JPG44.74 KB

Hey Matt I got it about 3 months ago, just been too lazy to update haha. Came from a place in the UK called Fast Road Cars or something I think. Carby specialist place, mainly Webers.
