Driving Light Globe Capri Mk1

Hi All,
I am having trouble locating a replacement globe for a genuine Mk1 Capri driving light. Can anybody help or recommend an alternative? the original is a Cryselco 45W No 185.
Thanks,
Tim

Might be something like this nowadays, but the shop (or others similar) would be the best place for info.

Thanks for the link, much appreciated. I located what I think is the correct globe, but this is a USA website (with terrible reviews) would prefer to locate them in Australia if possible. Further research indicates they also seem to be available in England. It does now seem if I can't source them from Australia there are overseas options. Not urgent, the Capri doesn't do much highway driving at night!!!

    HI Deano,
The Capri is going very well and the wheels are certainly one of the best parts!! We're out and about on runs with our local car club here in the Riverland, although winter weather keeps a few of us in the shed.
What projects are you working on at the moment?

    Hi Tim,

    Capri looks great!
i love the combo of the blue with silver minilights, she looks very period dressed.

I've got 3 things on the go at various stages:
    - the van mk2 van with bubbles, thread on here, some parts now in primer and topcoat
    - a mk2 4 door rally pack replica thats on the for sale page,
    - and then I'm working on putting together an EFI Speeduino system with Marty Mexico, which be for the pinto and have Honda ITB's. Just playing around with drawing the inlet manifold to make up.
The cold weather is slowing us down a little though.

    Hi Bernie,

I have managed to find a supply. Would you believe from a Jag specialist, they used the same Lucas electricals as Ford in the same era. I'll now have a Ford Capri with spotlights powered by Jaguar!! Thanks for your help.

    Hi Deano,
Sounds like you have enough to keep you busy for quite a while. Very happy with the wheels, in my opinion a nice upgrade from Rostyles and keeps the car standard. I'm happy that the only non standard items on the car are the exhaust (It had a twin system fitted before I bought it 1982) and the colour. If I had my time again I probably would have left it Diamond White but I do much prefer the French Blue, it's a Ford colour but not a Capri colour.
