Ahhhh i see, I wonderd what that was when i first looked at your pics. Do you have any thing else that holds the engine in apart from the gearbox?

as with the falcon front brakes the discs are xa xb and the calipers are hq they just dont bolt on you need a adaptor or hub what i did in the 80s was the stub axle was put a left hand thread on the stub and fitted a collar that accepted a falcon wheel bearing and put the disc over it and made a adaptor plate to take the calipers easy but im going to go bigger and like 13 or 14 inch disc with 4 or 6 spot calipers on the front and 4 spot on the rear got other plans for mega horsepower i will be jacking the car up this weekend so i will take some photos of the brakes

the front plate holds the engine in and the rear had a x member that ties both chassis rails together it is not that hard to do it was more harder to make a heater/demister and hook it all up than the engine plate and xmembers

i used a hq master cyl on the firewall and cause the car came with power booster you must run powered brakes so i used two remote boosters in the boot, 1 for the front and 1 for the rears and two vacuum tanks to hold reserve air cause of the cam and long distance to travel when you press the pedal hard you go trough the windscreen if your not carefull
