I went up and visited Steve when I last went to QLD and talked about his Cortina. Really nice guy.

Hopefully they'll replace it with an Escort.

surely a sponsered drag car team would expect a crash sooner or later and therefore have the capability's to replace panels etc
    will it be revived?

I think that's a bit too far gone to fix by throwing a few new panels at it. Being a full bodied drag car, I'd say a new body will be a far cheaper option.

Talking to the Escort racers at the Perth Motorplex, the Escort is not the way to go. Unless you really love them, the wheel base is too short to be a serious contender... sorry!

Better for a car to die in anger than quietly under a tree I reckon.
