MK2 Electric Assisted Power Steering.

Hi All. As most may be aware I have a modified steering column incorporating EPAS Installed into my RS. This is a bolt-in unit accepting all the OEM switch gear, ignition barrel / lock and steering wheel. The only change is that it no longer has the support for the shelf beside the drivers right knee as this is occupied by the motor.
As I have a spare column and EPAS unit I’m making another if anyone is interested. It’s likely based on an exchange basis as I may make more depending on EPAS unit availability.
These can be sourced from other suppliers but the majority do not incorporate the Ignition switch or stalks which is why I chose to make my own.
I’m using engine speed and road speed Input to allow for variable assistance hence another speed reference (GPS) will likely be required or a variable adjustment. This can be discussed as an addition if required.

Hi all. I guess pricing may help but as a guide I’m thinking around $850 with a C/O column.

    Cheers
