Capri enginebay:resources and photos

Hi Guys,
Inspired by the other thread where decals where made up for the specials, im wondering if anyone knows of any suppliers for std decals for the Mk1 Capri, and more importantly, where they should actually go? I bought some years ago off ebay, but they were just the normal neg earth, possibly cobbled from escort and falcon  ones.
it would be good to be get a few original engine bay photos, preferalbly or RH drive aust capri.
Heres one I had around, a pretty bare looking engine bay though.

Thats UK cars, Aust is different.  There are only a few decals, Brake Fluid, Battery, Air Filter and sometimes coolant.  The brake fluid one changes locations depending on the year.  Ill post a pic of my engine bay to show you where they go

LOL!  ............  how's the 4WD humungous N70ZZ Battery in the bay !!!!!  .............   was it to counteract the 120Kg driver, or were they running a "hybrid" electric motor with the petrol 4 !

Are the decals for the brake fluid and battery ones the same as XW Falcon?

Yes.  but have a look at the ones for sale as there are some cheaper ones that are not as good, you want the clear outline border, I got mine from Rare Spares.  Air Cleaner decal is XA, but appeared on the capri, as is the coolant decal-only ever seen on 72 capris and the position is not consistent.  mine is just squeezed on the salm panel, others are on the air deflector plate

thanks GTV6Capri, it looks like I might not have been too far off.
Is there likely to be any differences much between V6 decals/locations to 1600?
As you can seen, I havent really been persuing full originality, i'm sure the old chrome bling would annoy the die hards.
Looks like I might just need the slam panel one.

The Autolite decal is correct-I do recall seeing a red version somewhere.  Your link to decals appear to be UK ones.
