Vintage pics (NSFW)

Hi everyone,

I stumbled upon these photos of a few classic fords in their hey-day, so thought I post them up for all to enjoy. Weren't the 70s grand?

    100% correct !  .....
....   which is why we collect as many of these GEMS as possible !  Imagine a 10 y/o modern all-bells-and-whistles car being in storage for another 25 years and maybe started 1 or 2 times a year, and then hit the road for a 300 km trip and behave flawlessly all the way ? ,,,,,,,   "Good Luck With That" !
Well my 1972 GTV6 Delete Special did, despite one burnt ex valve, a noisy water pump that only leaked while idling, and 25 y/o cracked tyres that never leaked air in storage or on its born-again 300 km trip home after purchase ! Even the analogue console clock kept perfect time and all six guages displayed perfect running !
