2.8i v6 engine capri

Need help, I looked around I have found no videos or posts on a cologne 2.8i v6 engine rebuild etc, if anyone can help or source something be much appreciated

    You will find very little here on that engine as we didn't get the mk3 in Aus and it wasn't a popular conversion for the mk1 as the Essex v6 had not much less power but more torque.  So I would guess that most if not all of your parts will have to come from the UK or Germany.  At the end of the day its just an engine so once you have the parts the machining is the same as anything else.  The nearly 40 year old efi might be a different story if it needs repairs. 
     
    Would love to see some pics of the car, like I said not many 2.8 imports around.

    I picked this advert up on US eBay a week or two ago, it may help you. Team Blitz, based in Colombus, Ohio, who are referenced in the eBay link, are an excellent source of parts, as are Burton Power in the UK.
    I don't believe that the US Capri's had a 2.8i fitted, just a carby version, as they only had the Mk.2 Capri, NOT the Mk.3!
    Also, check out youtube as there's videos on 2.8 engines there!
