Capri V6 coil.

Hi guys/girls, simple question. Does a 72 V6 Capri run with a coil that is to be used with a resister or not?

    Yes. The capri has a resistor wire...provided no one has messed with it.

    Found the pic of my BOSCH COIL which I believe was factory fitted, which someone with a parts book may be able to verify.
    For the 5 years I've owned this GTV6, it has started first "pop" every time, hot or cold, winter or summer.
