cleaned up underneath - as much as i could be bothered. Put it back on its feet, paint the engine bay and then fit off the motor (again), the controller, inverter etc. 
Then ill buy the batteries (15k odd worth) - yeese! (its disappointing that the most realistic choice in batteries boils down to either one Chinese brand or another)

I’ll put them in the engine bay for the engineers. I’ll chuck some in the boot if I need more

I suppose if they are stacked near the bulkhead, it'll be fine . There will also be a huge cavity where the tank used to be and that could be a good spot for more lipos , NIMH's .. or whatever they are lol

very interesting  read up  we have a group of guys up here that do rc cars electric speed runs 100 mph club and 150 mph club will be good to see this capri light em up...

Yeah when it's done I want to see 0-62 mph times and mpg...err mpb, (miles per battery) usage etc , It's getting me interested . Haha as I type this there's a ad for that Nissan leaf one pedal thing, sounds like a crash going somewhere to happen lol
