Clutch spring on gearbox ? V6

Hi Guys,
Is there a spring that pulls the clutch arm back to its resting position on the gearbox end. I have a new cable installed and it does not return all the way back by itself, so I have the thrust bearing slightly turning. I can pull the arm back easily by hand to stop the thrust bearing turning. Any ideas?, is there a spring fitted at the factory?
Cheers Mark

No spring . At rest location achieved by adjustment on the cable, which has 3mm clearance from bell housing iirc.
Only spring is on the pedal.
